SACS Consulting is Carbon Neutral!
As part of our commitment to growing in a sustainable way, we have recently been certified by the Carbon Reduction Institute as a NoC02 company, the highest level of certification available. This means we are now completely carbon neutral.
After reducing our emissions wherever possible, we have offset our remaining operational carbon emissions as well as the emissions embodied in our products and services.
To reach this goal we have looked at everything from our energy usage, waste management, employee travel, stationery and the way we deliver our services.
Carbon offsetting is achieved through tree plantations that absorb the amount of carbon emitted, buying energy from renewable sources that don’t emit CO2, and investing in energy efficiency projects accredited under the NSW Greenhouse Abatement Scheme or the Federal Government’s Greenhouse Friendly Program.
Our staff are extremely excited about this initiative and continue to look for ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We are proud to be leading our industry in working towards a more sustainable future.
